During a focussed visit in June 2021, Ofsted inspectors noted that “Social Workers enjoy working in Solihull and feel well supported by their managers and teams. They receive a range of training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and expertise. Social workers benefit from regular supervision, which helps to progress plans for children.”

This is an exciting time as we begin work in partnership with an outstanding authority on the Strengthening Families, Protecting Children programme. This will see us increasing our offer of supportive and preventative services to families in Solihull and moving towards a restorative approach to our practice.
