Adult Social Care Financial Case Management Officer

Scale 5 £22,021 to £23,836 per annum 

37 hours per week

Telford & Wrekin Council are looking to recruit 2 permanent full time Financial case management officers to join our busy team within Adult Social Care and help shape the future of our service. We are seeking 2 permanent Financial case management officers to undertake a role in our Social care finance team. You will be part of a team within Adult Social care responsible for providing a financial assessment service ensuring that service users are making the correct contributions towards the cost of their care, and provide an advice and information service regarding maximisation of benefits to ensure service users are receiving all their benefit entitlements. Full training and ongoing coaching/mentoring will be given. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering a quality service to the Telford & Wrekin customers. Hybrid working (part office based/part working from home) will be considered for the right applicants.

Whilst previous experience is not essential, you will require a sound knowledge of education, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a pro-active approach to all areas of work with a keen eye for accuracy.
