The Role:

This is a great chance to join Worcestershire County Council and support our Members in a busy and exciting role.

The Members’ Support Office provides a wide range of support for our elected Members. This includes providing administrative and event support, circulation of papers and briefings, alongside wider support around correspondence with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll work closely with the wider Member Support Office and Governance Team to ensure cover and support is provided to Members 09:00-17:00 and some flexible working will be required.

Being a Member Support Officer is a busy and important role, supporting the elected representatives of Worcestershire on a wide variety of tasks.  The ideal candidate will have experience of working with members, or in a political environment. 

This is an excellent opportunity for confident individuals to progress within a friendly working environment. Excellent engagement and organisational skills are crucial to this role, alongside the ability to problem solve and communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
