Temporary: two years 


The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Digital and Web Innovation Team. As a Business Analyst, with a key focus on Customer Services, you will be responsible for undertaking reviews of business and IT systems to ensure processes and software deliver effective performance for Worcestershire County Council (WCC). You will deliver innovative solutions that will support staff and partners to deliver a more joined up service for the residents and visitors of Worcestershire. These solutions will form a key element of our Digital Transformation programme and the wider WCC Digital Strategy.

The measurable deliverables expected of this role include:
- Lead the delivery of new digital solutions that meet the needs of both the business and the customer using a variety of methodologies e.g. Agile and scrum techniques, Lean Six Sigma and Prince 2
- Manage the delivery of new solutions, from the initial specification of requirements and feasibility through to the handover to business as usual processes.
- Engage stakeholders through business process re-design to identify improvements and deliver efficiencies
- Develop business process activity diagrams and contribute to the creation of solution mock-ups
- Ensure that system developments are made in accordance with legislation and the corporate standards of digital service for accessibility and GDPR
