St James CE Primary School are looking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner (Level 3) to join our school.
St James CE Primary School is a two form entry primary school with friendly, hardworking staff and students. We are committed to developing and investing in all staff so that they may reach their full potential.
The successful post holder must be an excellent communicator and be confident in supporting children with a range of learning needs.
We would love to hear from individuals that are passionate about education, highly motivated and have a commitment to learner achievement and success. You will work with class teachers and the SENCo, participating in activities designed to meet the emotional, physical and learning needs of the individual child. The ideal candidate will be able to assist in the planning, delivery and monitoring of interventions to support and enable progress. There will be a requirement to monitor pupils' responses to learning activities and encourage them to take an interest in their own learning and development.
