CLEANING SUPERVISOR (Grade 3 SCP 3-4)

Full time equivalent £18,562 to £18,933 Actual Pro-rata salary £6,196 to £6,320

14 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 3.15pm to 6.00pm, Friday 3.00pm to 6.00pm) – working 40 weeks (term-time + 10 days)

The Federation of Chadsmoor Community Infants & Nursery School and Chadsmoor C of E (VC) Junior School are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor based at our Junior School Site.   Applicants should be aware that this appointment is to the Federation and therefore there may be a requirement to carry out duties at both sites.

You will be responsible under the direction of senior staff to supervise,  direct and work with the team of cleaning staff in the school to ensure that cleaning is in accordance with agreed standards and specification.  Please refer to the attached job description for full details of this role.  The ideal candidate will have supervisory/leadership experience with the ability to 

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school
  • Work constructively as part of a team
  • Organise and prioritise skills and workload for self and others
  • Communicate effectively and work constructively as part of a team
  • Use initiative and take responsibility
  • Maintain documentation with regards to Health & Safety, Maintenance, Cleaning Equipment, Training,  Stock rotation and stock control.
