1 TEACHING ASSISTANT POST – Level 2 (SCP 10-13) Starting January 2022 for 2 terms initially (but could be extended).

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (mornings) term time only. This is a temporary position  (initially until end of July 2022).

We would require someone to work for 3 1/2  hours a day (Monday to Friday).

Hours of work would be 8.45 to 12.15

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School is a friendly, inclusive and popular school situated in the village of Great Wyrley.

Our pupils are very well behaved and eager to learn.  We offer supportive induction and training opportunities.

We are seeking:

•           An enthusiastic and experienced Teaching  Assistant (Level 2) to provide support children in EYFS

•           Someone who has a calm yet positive manner

•           Someone who is adaptable with a caring nature, who can support this pupil's integration with the rest of the class

Candidates must hold a recognised and relevant NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent, or be working towards this qualification.

Applicants will have experience of working within a primary setting and should be able to clearly demonstrate this in their application.

The successful applicant must be prepared to work in an atmosphere where the Catholic viewpoint is put first and be prepared to actively promote this.
