A vacancy has arisen for an Advanced Tutor within the SEND Department.
The role involves delivering courses across a range of subjects in SEND across Birmingham.
In addition to programme planning learning and assessment, the role is primarily concerned with supporting SEND learners to meet the diverse needs (including employment), of learners. The post holder will need to be conversant with online monitoring tools such as eTracker and digital platforms for the delivery of courses through Blended Learning and online. Training will be provided
Travel between Birmingham’s Adult Education Centres will be required, and travel expenses can be claimed according to the BCC Approved Mileage Scheme. The successful applicant will be flexible as some evening and Saturday work is required.
You will need to have a teaching qualification at Level 5 and a relevant subject qualification at Level 4
