Position:             Learning Support Assistant   (temporary post: January to July 2022)

Salary:                   Grade 4 SCP 5-6  Starting at £10.01 per hour 

                                32.5hrs per week, term-time only, 37wks FTE

Requirement:        NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) essential

Burton Fields School are looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide support for pupils with additional learning needs, within the classroom or as bespoke 1-1 or small group provision, to enable them to catch up and keep up with their peers.

We require someone who: 

-Is committed to inclusive practice.
-Has an outstanding understanding of the impact of additional learning needs on children’s progress and development.
-Has experience of working with children with learning difficulties and/or with children who require additional support for learning
-Has the relevant skills and strategies required to ensure a tailored package of support can be implemented to meet identified needs.
-Has good interpersonal skills and is able to communicate well.
-Has the ability to inspire and motivate.

-Is resilient.

-Has a good sense of humour.

-Can work well independently and as part of a team.
