Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor

Teaching Assistant Grade  1 (SCP 1-4) – working 15 hours a week (5 days) – mornings only and Lunchtime Supervisor 1 hour per day

Required for January 2022

We have a vacancy for a motivated teaching assistant to support learning and teaching in a year 1 and 2 mixed aged class. The role requires the applicant to support the children with core curriculum areas and to lead intervention, phonics and catch up sessions. 

The post holder will need to be able to work on their own initiative and under the direction of the class teacher. It is desirable that the candidate has experience of working with key stage one children and has experience of leading small group or 1-1 interventions.

In addition, we would ideally like the post holder to work for one hour per day as a Lunchtime Supervisor (5 days).
