Temporary Senior Learning Mentor

 

Full time, temporary Senior Learning Mentor, Grade 6 (full-time 32.5 hours per week, term-time) required for January 2022.

 

Bailey Street Alternative Provision Academy is working in partnership with the Stafford and Stone District SEND Hub and the Stafford Local Management Group in seeking to appoint a highly effective and experienced Senior Learning Mentor.

 

This post will be temporary for 12 months and this will be reviewed at the end of the contract. The successful candidate will be supporting pupils in schools within the Stafford and Stone District and will spend one administrative day per week at our school in Stafford. This position will involve visiting 7 High schools and 2 Middle schools within the Stafford and Stone District. Pupils will be referred at the district Hubs when are displaying a wide range of behaviours or concerns.

 

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, enthusiastic and committed Senior Learning Mentor to support pupils attending school within the Stafford and Stone District who are experiencing challenges. You will work with a caseload of pupils on a 1-1 basis, within their school environment, and work closely with their support network, in order to best help the pupil re-engage with their education.
