Job Details

STAR service is a Short Term Assessment and Reablement service provided by Sandwell Council. The service plays a vital part in maintaining the independence of those living in borough by providing Care and Support in a person’s own home.

We are currently looking for permanent Care Scheduler/Analysts. 

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling hours and staff to meet clients needs by utilising Home Support team availability
  • Producing weekly and day to day rotas for Clients and Home Support Team
  • Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new packages
  • Managing the rostering of calls using CM200

The post holder will be required to have:

  • Experience of rostering preferably in a domiciliary care setting
  • Excellent IT/Communication/Administration skills

You must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English, or an equivalent qualification.

You will also be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.

Hours

37 hours per week. This will be on a working Rota which will include working weekends and bank holidays.

This service operates between 7am - 11pm, Scheduler’s rotas cover the hours of 7am – 8pm
