The Role

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated person that wants to make a difference to the lives and education of young people. North Leamington School (NLS) is a fantastic place to work and personally develop and we would love you to come and join us!

You will work in collaboration with the Head of Sixth Form to carry out a program of academic mentoring, monitoring and intervention in the Sixth Form. You will provide high quality supervision of study rooms and support to improve student outcomes and also provide welfare support for students, leading to internal and external support. You will be responsible for managing the attendance of Sixth Form including daily registration checks and communications.

•Flexibility with regards to the hours with this role. It is advertised at 37 hours , however 32.5 hours per week or alternative part time hours will be considered.

Key Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you think this role will suits your skills, knowledge and experience and you have excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of literacy and numeracy, at least GCSE grade A*-C in English and Maths and a higher qualification in any discipline to Post 18 e.g. A levels, L3 apprenticeship, BTEC L3. It is essential that you are able to form good working relationships with colleagues and to relate appropriately to young people, promoting positive attitudes to achieve the best possible outcomes for individual students.
