Salary

Would you like to make a difference to the young people in our school by ensuring our premises are the best that they can be?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Site Services Officer who has a ‘can do’ attitude and skills in the trades to join our small site team at Foxford School.

Our site services team is key to the effective running of the school.  This role is varied and involves providing a quick response to general maintenance calls, manual handling and lifting, janitorial, monitoring and security duties, including a 24 hour response to call outs.

Ideally you will have experience of repairs and maintenance, and relevant trades (including carpentry, plumbing, heating, and painting) as well as building works in a similar environment.    Most importantly, you will have the will to go that extra mile to make a difference to the students at our school, the flexibility to be part of a great team, and the communication and problem solving skills to resolve situations as they arise, with the support of our Senior Site Services Officer.

This position is Grade 4: £11,818 - £13,848 pa pro rata (£19,698 - £23,080 FTE), and is part time 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday). The working hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, all year round.

We think this is an exciting time to join us.  We have recently become part of Castle Phoenix Multi Academy Trust which specialises in leadership and was founded in February 2013, on the success of the Caludon Castle Teaching School. With the support of the Trust we have a helpful and knowledgeable team at hand to assist you and make you feel valued.  We have a commitment to invest in and develop all staff and, most importantly, bring about the best possible outcomes for our students who deserve the very best.

We pride ourselves in offering:

  • The opportunity to work as part of a supportive, friendly and hardworking team who are united in their drive to achieve the very best outcomes for every student.
  • Potential developmental opportunities to take on more responsibilities within the Trust.
  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition initiatives, through the Trust’s people strategy.
  • A range of benefits which includes the local government pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership, free parking and an employee discount scheme.
