10.5 hours per week (fixed term initially to FEBRUARY 2022

with possibility of extension)

9.00am-12.30pm Monday to Wednesday inclusive

Salary range £19,312 to £19,698

Actual pro-rata annual salary will be £6,440

Thomas Russell Infants’ School is a partner academy in John Taylor MAT.  Our governors are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and hard-working Teaching Assistant to join our happy school to support a child in year 2.

Applicants must have current experience of working in Key Stage 1. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the class teacher and Co-Headteachers.  We are looking to appoint someone who is committed to achieving high standards, is comfortable in the area of additional support and will work closely with colleagues as part of a friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will ideally have Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification and have experience supporting children with SEND.

We require a Teaching Assistant who:

• has energy and a positive work ethic;
• has experience of working with children with additional needs
• has experience working with Infant aged children;

• is a team player and can demonstrate collaborative strategies;

• has high expectations of themselves and others;
• uses their initiative and can work independently as well as under the direction of the class teacher.
