Horton Lodge School is looking to appoint a qualified, inspiring Teaching Assistant to join our strong and dedicated team. Horton Lodge School is a Local Authority Special School for children aged 2-11 years with physical disabilities and associated needs. Our pupils have a range of complex needs including cognitive, communication, physical, sensory, and health related disabilities.

The successful candidate will truly hold the pupils wellbeing and learning at the centre of all they do, have good interpersonal skills, high standards and expectations and an understanding of the difficulties faced by young people with disabilities. A commitment to undertake training and implement new initiatives is required.

We are offering the opportunity to work in our innovative school in a beautiful setting with pupils who are happy and enthusiastic about learning. We have a skilled and highly dedicated staff team and a very supportive Governing Body. Appropriate training and support will be offered to the successful candidate.

The post is Grade 5 (SCP 6 – 9, £19,698 - £20,903 FTE), term time only, permanent position, which will start as soon as possible.
