POST STATUS: Temporary- until March 2022

WEEKLY HOURS:  15 (3 hours per day over 5 mornings)

SALARY:  £19,312 to £19,698 (pro rata)

PAY WEEKS: Term Time Only

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, who is a specialist in additional needs, to join our team to provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. The position will be directly linked to a child’s Special Educational Needs and as such will be a fixed term contract until 31st March 2022.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of supporting children’s learning in schools
  • Encourages and contributes to creating a positive and creative learning environment
  • Is educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in numeracy and literacy skills
  • Is qualified to NVQ2 standard for Teaching Assistants
  • Has good communication and organisational skills
