The vacancy arises upon the retirement of Richard Green at the end of the autumn term 2021.

Governors are looking to appoint a headteacher to lead our school and its committed team into the next phase of its journey.

Coppice is an oversubscribed, successful, friendly school with dedicated and enthusiastic staff and supportive parents. We share our site with Langley Special School and are part of the Learning Trust for Excellence, a cooperative group of 11 local schools that work together to support each other in raising standards and widening opportunities for the children.

Our modern building, which was built in 2009, offers a flexible learning environment with its ‘open’ layout and classrooms without doors.

Coppice prides itself on being an inclusive school, with an increasingly diverse population that continues to add to our community. Children have high levels of behaviour, are enthusiastic, independent learners who are encouraged to take risks and think beyond their own situation.

The successful candidate will be expected to take up the appointment at the beginning of the Spring Term.
