We are looking to appoint a permanent cover supervisor to join our highly professional and dedicated team.  The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to upholding the ethos and values of our school; have a professional approach, high expectations and a determination to succeed.

The appointed person will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, under the guidance of teaching or senior staff; will implement work programmes, manage routine student behaviour and assist students in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.   You will be expected to undertake a lunch time duty and to administer first aid to students.

A good general educational background is essential as is an interest in working with young people aged 11-18.


Walton High School is an oversubscribed, high-achieving, science specialist school.   It is situated in a pleasant residential area on the edge of Cannock Chase and enjoys an excellent reputation.
