Job Details

The Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) Team is tasked with effectively investigating and tackling ASB and statutory noise nuisance across all tenures in the Dudley Borough. The team are focussed on improving Community Safety as well as outcomes for victims of ASB with the response we provide to investigating reports. As part of a commitment to deliver an outstanding response to ASB, a key priority in the Dudley Borough, we are looking for two ASB Officers to join the team and to play an integral role in the ongoing development of the service.

 

Hours:  2 x 37 per week

Salary: Grade 8 

Location: Harbour Buildings, Waterfront, Brierley Hill

We are seeking two Anti Social Behaviour Officers to play an integral role in the delivery of the Council’s response to ASB. You will be expected to adopt a flexible and problem solving approach to work to deliver quick and sustainable resolutions to problems of ASB and Statutory Noise Nuisance across the Borough irrespective of tenure whilst supporting and reducing the risk to local residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload as well as leading on and contributing to wider community safety initiatives.

Candidates will need to demonstrate that they have a non discriminatory, investigatory mind-set with the ability to think outside of the box, have significant experience of case management processes and a commitment to working in partnerships with the ability to take the lead in a multi agency environment. Furthermore, candidates should have a commitment to improving services, working to deadlines, meeting targets and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours of work are 37 per week Monday-Friday though some evening and weekend working may be required where necessary to meet the needs of the service.
