Teaching Assistant – General Level 2 – 17.5 hours per week - Grade 3 SCP 3 to 6 (Monday to Friday – 8:45am to 12:15pm) – Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2021 - Term Time Only – (Actual Salary: Between £7,265pa and £7,603pa).

Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy is a growing 1.5 form entry school in the heart of a large rural village with strong links to the local church and village communities.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within Key Stage 2 starting in January 2022.

Working under the supervision of the class teacher, you will be responsible for supporting a variety of pupils within the classroom, as well as working with small groups to deliver structured interventions.

You will need to have the following skills/experience:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience working as a Teaching Assistant;

- Good numeracy and literacy skills; 

- Excellent inter-personal skills; 

- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team; 

- Ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the working environment; 

- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar.
