This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Support Team. We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals to undertake the role of Business Support Officer.  There are two opportunities for a Business Support Officer, the first is situated within the Minute Taking Team, and your main duties will be to provide support to the Adults Services in relation to Human Resources and Safeguarding through the minuting of meetings.

This role requires the skills, experience and ability to be able to minute complex and non-complex meetings such as Investigation Interviews, Disciplinary & Grievance, and Adult Safeguarding meetings. You will need to be able to combine your skills and abilities with that of team-work skills to complete tasks, be flexible in your approach, able to work to tight deadlines and timescales, communicate effectively and to take ownership and responsibility for your own workload.

This is a full-time permanent role which will include both remote working and a requirement to attend different venues including Care Centres in order to minute meetings. The second role will involve close working with the directorate support team who provide support to the Adult Social Care management team. You will be required to carry out minute taking to a high standard whilst having the ability to be flexible as you will manage multiple work requests for a wide variety of tasks. You will be required to liaise with numerous stakeholders of a senior level, both internal and external to the organisation with professionalism.

You will also help provide project support to the Business Support Co-ordinator team, which involves liaison with the wider adult’s social work teams on a regular basis on tasks which can vary on a daily basis from data collection to collation of papers for board meetings and acquiring sign off for reports. A problem-solving ability with a can-do approach is vital to the role.
