As an Outstanding Local Authority our offer to care leavers requires an outstanding person.

We are currently recruiting an outstanding person with strong experience in working with young people   in transition age 16-25 and a track record of supporting them to be independent young adults ensuring they have a relevant, up-to-date pathway plan which considers the full range of needs and actions to aid transition into adulthood and independent living.

You will support them and encouraging them to attend lots of participation activities we offer locally and nationally. You will have experience of multi agency working to navigate the housing, benefits, education, training and jobs arenas with the young person and have evidence of excellent outcomes for young people. You also need to be able to show how you have supported young people (16-25) in understanding their life story and the impact of this on their emotional health and wellbeing.

The starting salary is negotiable depending on experience of between £24,313-£26,317 per annum.

High levels of supervision and team support, manageable case loads and training opportunities.

We work systemically with young people within Leaving Care, offering a relationship based approach

You will need to be an experienced in working with 16-25 year olds or have relevant transferable skills, be organised, proactive, can do person to join our personal advisor team and  support our young people to prepare for and transition into adulthood.
