Receptionist x2 - Alderman’s Green Primary School
We are a school that expects the best of everyone because our children deserve the very best but we also support one another well. At Alderman’s Green we work as a team to ensure that all of our children achieve the best quality learning experiences that we can provide. Our school promotes an enthusiasm for learning and achievement. We provide our staff with high quality CPD opportunities in order that we can all be the best that we can be.
We are looking for two part time receptionists, to be the first port of call for visitors and phone calls into the school and to carry out administrative tasks as required.
The AM position is from 8.30am to 12.30pm and the PM position is from 12.15pm to 4.15pm. There is a 15 minute handover period each day.
The school office is often a very busy place, with a lot going on and no two days are ever the same! You will have a pivotal role in ensuring the office runs smoothly and professionally at all times. For each position, we are looking for an enthusiastic cheerful person, who can remain calm and professional during these busy periods and can effectively deal with the multiple demands, including greeting visitors and dealing with their queries, receiving and making phone calls, queries from staff and late children.
During your quieter times, you will plan, prioritise and carry out administrative tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and that the office and reception area are maintained as a tidy, welcoming space for both visitors and staff. You will be directed and supported by the Office Manager.
Experience of working in a busy school office is desirable, although training can be given to the right person.
Visits to the school are encouraged. Please make an appointment by calling the school on 024 7668 8918 and asking for Jenny MacDonald.
To apply, please download the application form and return to email@example.com
