We are looking to appoint a Finance Officer with a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in finance and to work as part of our school office team. You will be working with the Finance Administrator and the School Business Manager, taking responsibility for the financial management of the school budget.

As this is a prominent role that will have contact with children and parents as well as staff and the general public, so we are looking for a pro-active, friendly, positive person, who is able to work under pressure when dealing with several demands at once and still retain a sense of humour! You will already have had some experience of financial management and be skilled in the use of IT.

The hours of work will be 25 hours per week, precise daily hours to be negotiated between 8am – 5pm. This post is term time plus the 5 staff training days and an additional three weeks worked during the summer and Easter breaks to finish off tasks.
