The Role

Race Leys Infant School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding and inspirational teacher, have an excellent understanding of recent innovations in teaching and learning, and experience of leading change in educational setting at either middle or senior leadership level.
This is a permanent, full-time position. To start at February Half term or sooner if possible.

•The ability to inspire and motivate teams as well as lead by example
•A strong understanding of whole school improvement
•Strong leadership that consistently strives to gain the best for each and every child
•Has excellent working knowledge of the curriculum
•Is approachable and is a creative, talented, inspirational team player who leads by example to further develop our staff
•Is passionate that every child achieves their full potential and has the ability to promote excellent standards of teaching and learning
•Excellent communication skills for all stakeholders with the ability to build relationships with parents, other schools and the wider community
•Adept skills to challenge and support in equal measure
•Have a class responsibility with Senior leadership time provided to drive improvement
