The Role


Coughton C of E Primary School is seeking to employ an After School Club Play Assistant to join its enthusiastic and dedicated team. There is also a Breakfast Club Play Assistant position available and the roles can be combined.
Within this role, the successful candidate will support the supervision of our children during the sessions to ensure their general safety and wellbeing and that attending the Wraparound care at Coughton is an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. The roles will involve delivering a variety of play-based activities with the children and assisting in the provision of snacks and a light tea. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic and have previous experience of working with children.

Key Requirements

Minimum of NVQ Level 2 qualification in play work or childcare, or be studying towards relevant qualification would be desirable. Paediatric First Aid ( or willingness to train) is essential.
