The Local Academy Board is seeking to appoint a cleaner to join our friendly team of cleaning staff. We wish to appoint a positive and enthusiastic cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic learning environment.

You will be working as part of a team keeping the school clean and hygienic. Forming effective relationships with your colleagues will be key to the role. You will be expected to support learning within the classroom by providing a clean environment for the children to work in.

You will also be creative and committed, with a sense of humour and a passion for inspiring and making a difference to the lives of children in the inner-city.

St George’s is a vibrant, diverse and inclusive school, with a positive, supportive working environment. We are a welcoming, forward thinking team with our focus very firmly on raising standards to deliver the best outcomes for our young people.

We can offer good opportunities for staff training and development, supportive parents and Governing Body and, most importantly, positive, happy children who enjoy learning.

Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust (BDMAT) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We welcome applications from underrepresented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion. BDMAT is a Disability Confident employer and a member of Stonewall Diversity Programme.
