This exciting and demanding role has a crucial part to play in the delivery of Herefordshire's duties in relation to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families. We are seeking to appoint an excellent Early Years practitioner who can bring positive leadership and management skills, as well as having good knowledge of SEND . The successful applicant will join the management team of the Additional Needs Service; a 0-25 service for children, young people and young adults with SEND. The post holder will need to have excellent interpersonal skills as the role requires dialogue with EY settings across the county, liaison with parents and carers and the building of partnerships with a wide range of other services and agencies. The ability to review and improve current SEND systems and to analyse data with a view to improving the experience of children and their families is also pivotal to this role.
