About Us and the Role

Business Support are currently looking to recruit to two Business Support Officer’s one in the Post Room and the other within ICT Purchasing.

ICT Purchasing

This is a full-time post, and we are offering a permanent contract.  You will be required to work in Shire Hall Warwick 2 -3 times a week.  These are some of the tasks you will be required to do:

  • Raising orders using Agresso our financial system
  • Software/Hardware purchasing
  • Mobile Phone purchasing
  • Arranging appointments for equipment collection
  • Sorting stock and deliveries
  • Warranty and returns
  • Adhoc projects

 

Post Room

This post is full-time and will be a Fixed Term Contract for up to 12 months and will be based and required to work in the Post Room in Shire Hall, Warwick.  These are some of the tasks you will be required to do:

 

  • Sorting and scanning post
  • Printing - centralised facility
  • Franking and mailing out
  • Stationery support
  • Liaising with contractors and delivery drivers
  • Creating ID badges
  • Assisting with small projects

 

For both of these positions we are looking for someone who:

 

  • Is happy working in a fast-paced, busy environment and manage changes at short notice.
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is Self-motivated
  • Enjoys problem solving
  • Is happy to work as part of a team

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
