We are currently seeking a dynamic Deputy Headteacher at this rapidly developing Pupil Referring Unit. The person appointed will share our passion for finding innovative and engaging methods to support our young people. We are looking for someone who can support the ambitious vision of the school and help deliver on our strategic aims. The focus of the role is the operational direction of the secondary site with direct responsibility for curriculum development and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering change at the whole school level and the ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. We are always looking to improve and move forward and now is a very exciting time to be joining our team.
The Bridge Short Stay School caters for students from Key Stages 1 to 4 who have been permanently excluded from school, students with medical conditions including anxiety and it also offers short programmes for students who are presenting challenging behaviour in their mainstream settings. Successful applicants will be expected to have a commitment to raising the self esteem and achievement levels for all learners. We would welcome applications from candidates with mainstream or special/AP experience.
