We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and adaptable, committed to helping students by developing, preparing and maintaining facilities, equipment and materials within the Science department.
You will provide practical and technical support to teachers delivering the Science curriculum, preparing and maintaining resources to enable safe and engaging practical activities to be undertaken by staff and students. You will provide advice and guidance, including ensuring that COSHH regulations are adhered to at all times.
This an ideal role for someone with an interest in science who is looking for a rewarding job where every day is different. This role would give you practical experience working with both students and teachers in a close-knit and friendly department. Don’t worry if your scientific knowledge isn’t up to scratch, we provide training within the Trust to enable you to develop as a Science Technician and perform the role to a high standard.

The salary for this position is £16,356 - £19,939 pa pro rata (£18,933 - £23,080 pa. FTE), working 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 teacher training days. The hours of work are 8.00 – 4.00 Monday to Thursday, and 8.00 – 3.30 on Friday.
