Do you want to help people live independently in their own homes? This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making every day the best it can be for our tenants. You will join our Sheltered Housing team in helping people live fulfilled lives within safe, secure and homely environments.

We provide housing related support to people over 55 with a variety of needs, many of which are complex.  We face challenging but exciting times rebuilding communities following the impact of the pandemic where social isolation has had a huge effect on the tenants living in our schemes. The essential requirements will be flexibility, a positive outlook, and the sensitivity to relate to and support tenants and their families during this time of uncertainty.

This is a rewarding role that comes with excellent training and opportunities for personal development.

Hours: 37 per week

Salary:  Grade 3 - £18,562 to £18,933

The post holder will provide and maintain an efficient Sheltered Housing Service to tenants living in Sheltered Housing Schemes encouraging them to join in meaningful activities to enable them to lead as full and active life as possible

In order to enable a diversity of older vulnerable people to live independently in their own home the post holder will help create a stimulating and varied programme of activities and social events, both at and away from the schemes

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and vulnerable adults; therefore the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.
