The school has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, most recently in January 2018:
“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. You have created an inclusive and purposeful environment. Blue Coat is a ‘welcoming school’. Pupils enjoy school. Staff are proud of the school. They believe that there is a culture that encourages calm and orderly conduct and is aspirational for all pupils.”
Blue Coat Church of England Academy is one of the oldest educational establishments in Walsall, is well-respected and valued by the community it serves. We operate on a very collaborative approach to school improvement working with a range of other schools and nationally recognised trainers.
