SENIOR IT Technician – Grade 6
Point 12 - 17
37 hours per week, term time only (40 weeks per year)
Salary Grade 6: £22,183 - £24,492 FTE
Actual Salary £19,727.00 - £21,780.34
Governors are seeking to appoint an IT Technician to join our team. You will have the ability to work across the entire school and support and maintain IT solutions and resources, including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.
You will work 37 hours per week, 8.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am – 3.30 pm Friday (with ½ hour unpaid break). However, hours are subject to change in order to meet the needs of the school.
Applicants will need to be qualified to minimum level 3.
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
- Knowledge and experience of IT systems in a workplace or educational environment.
- Knowledge and experience of organisation network infrastructures
- The ability to plan, develop and manage school IT solutions and resources
- The ability to plan projects to improve resources in relation to teaching and learning
