Teaching and Learning Assistant (2 posts)

Post 1: 35.5 hours per week, term time only

Post 2: 26.0 hours per week, term time only

Level 4N pt 4-7

Required as soon as possible

The Governors are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic, highly skilled and well-motivated Teaching Assistants to join our hardworking and committed team.

Post 1 is within our Early Years and Post 2 is within Key Stage 1.

We are looking for a passionate and caring individuals, who are prepared to hit the ground running and build a strong rapport with the children. The ideal candidates will be confident and demonstrate good behaviour management skills.

Applicants must be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have experience of working in a primary school

The successful applicants will:

• Become part of our hardworking, committed and friendly team;
• Provide day to day classroom support to the children, and assisting with pupil behaviour;
• Establish good relationships and act as a role model;
• Help to plan lessons by preparing materials and resources;
• Have an understanding of the current national curriculum;

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience of working within Early Years and/or Key Stage One;
• Works in a calm, caring but firm and supportive manner
• Works well within a team and can use their initiative to help pupils                                    develop.
