Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School is a one form entry community school that has been established since 1833. We are happy and forward thinking, dedicated to nurturing and celebrating the worth of every member of our school family.
We are looking to appoint a committed, highly professional and enthusiastic School Office Administrative Assistant who is approachable, efficient and resourceful at all times.
You will need to be passionate about working within our school and supporting our children and their families. You will also be the first point of contact for parents, pupils and other visitors to the school creating an efficient, polite and welcoming first impression.
A 'hands on' approach with the ability to be calm whilst prioritising your work is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. General administrative support is a significant part of this busy role, and candidates must have a good working knowledge of general office systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher etc). A clear understanding of the school MIS system (SIMS) is also desirable.
The position is term time only with 5 teacher training days per academic year.
We are looking for an individual who:
- has strong time management skills and the ability to manage workloads and deadlines in a busy and demanding environment
- can relate well to both children and adults and have excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
- has general administration/office experience working in a busy office environment
- is able to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner
- understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- is able to work effectively as a team member within our hardworking, talented and friendly team, demonstrating a flexible attitude to work
- has good IT skills with the ability to adapt well to using new software, a willingness to undertake further training is essential
