Temporary Contract for 2 Terms until 31 July, 2022

We are seeking an excellent Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 2 Team in supporting the teaching and learning of pupils from January 2022.

You will be, or will have the potential to be, outstanding in your practise with the ability to inspire, motivate and make positive changes. You will be passionate about the need to enable our pupils to make outstanding progress within their learning and development.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • has strong time management skills and the ability to manage workloads and deadlines in a busy and demanding environment
  • can relate well to both children and adults and have excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
  • has current or recent experience of supporting children's learning within a Primary School, preferably Key Stage 2
  • is able to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner
  • has a minimum of NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants (or recognised equivalent qualification)
  • is able to work effectively as a team member within our hardworking, talented and friendly team, demonstrating a flexible attitude to work and initiative
  • has an understanding of child development and learning processes
  • has good IT skills with the ability to adapt well to using new software, a willingness to undertake further training is essential
  • possesses excellent interpersonal skills and has a “can do” attitude
