The Governors of our outstanding primary school wish to appoint a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, qualified to Level 2, for a child within Key Stage 2 that started in September.

This child needs help with social and emotional skills, in addition to accessing the curriculum within the classroom environment. The child is a loving, enthusiastic and determined young person who has made some progress with all aspects of learning this academic year.

The person we are seeking must be a warm, calm and positive individual. We need someone who is a flexible team player and well-motivated. You will need excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely and proactively with the Class Teacher, parents and other professionals.

Relevant practical experience of supporting young people with special educational needs is desirable, together with some understanding of meeting diverse needs in a mainstream setting. We look to appoint those who share our vision of providing a high quality of education within a stimulating environment and who have a commitment to serve the children and their families within our school community.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, outstanding school community. Holy Trinity is a school with approx. 250 pupils on roll. Our children are a joy and our parents are supportive. We are fortunate to have good resources and staff receive excellent professional development.

Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School is highly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
