Job Title: Library Team Leader
Salary: £20,984 to £23,167 PRO RATA
Location: Evesham Cluster (Evesham, Pershore, Broadway and Droitwich)
Permanent: 24 hours per week

The role

Worcestershire Libraries are recruiting. We have vacancies at the Redditch Library Cluster and the Evesham Library Cluster.

We have some exciting opportunities for dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible individuals with experience of providing excellent customer service and leading a team to join Worcestershire Libraries.

As a Team Leader, you will lead and supervise staff, including setting clear expectations and goals to support high performance.  You will be working alongside the library team delivering a wide range of literacy, reading and learning services and helping to promote wider community participation. You will have a good understanding of information resources, be comfortable working closely with partner organisations and be able to demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to customer service across a diverse customer base, including children and young people.  

If you can enthuse and motivate a team by promoting a clear sense of purpose, inspiring a positive attitude to work, arousing a strong desire to succeed among team members and would like to be part of a forward-thinking service, we would love to hear from you.

Working hours are based on a rota and include Saturdays and evenings.

Worcestershire Libraries are structured in clusters with a larger library and 3 others in each cluster except for The Hive. 

The vacancies are as follows:

Evesham cluster (Evesham, Pershore, Broadway and Droitwich) this role will be based at Pershore Library. There is an expectation that you would work where needed at any library in the cluster with occasional cover across the county.
