10 hours per week 3.30pm – 5.30pm Monday-Friday
All year round
(Flexibility to work during some school holidays on a rotational basis between 8.30am – 3pm is essential)

Hazel Oak is an outstanding learning environment, with pupils who have a broad range of needs including Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, social, emotional and behavioural challenges and a range of personal care and medical needs.  

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to be part of our cleaning team. The successful candidates will be hardworking and be able to work under their own initiative.  Our team have dedicated areas for cleaning but there may be times when this changes to respond to levels of use of rooms so you will need to be flexible in your outlook and willing to adapt your routine if needed.  You will be working with supportive site team within a friendly school.

Duties include vacuuming and mopping, emptying waste bins, cleaning down surfaces and equipment in designated areas including classrooms, offices, toilets, corridors and staff room. The role also includes deep cleaning duties during the year to maintain standards of cleanliness and hygiene with the school. 

Experience is desirable but not essential as training on cleaning materials and methods and equipment will be given.  If you are willing to learn, take pride in your work and have high standards for maintaining levels of cleanliness and hygiene we would encourage you to apply.  This is a full year round post and we request that annual leave is taken during school closed periods.
