Worcestershire County Council - Project Support Officers - 2 posts 
Salary: £23,632 - £25,579,
Full-Time: 35 hours,
Fixed term contract to 30th June 2023

Worcestershire County Council’s Growth and Investment Team runs a number of projects to support businesses to start, innovate, grow and expand within the county.

We are looking for two full time Project Support Officers to support the delivery of our  Elevate Growth programme for established and ambitious SMEs and Enterprising Worcestershire Start-Up programme which provides support for pre-starts, early stage and high growth start-up businesses. The projects support economic growth in Worcestershire’s SME base and are part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

If you have an appreciation of issues affecting small and medium sized businesses and experience of proactively monitoring and administering projects and tracking progress, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and effective organisational skills, then the role could be for you. 

The successful applicants will have key responsibilities in supporting the delivery of business support projects delivered by external providers, administering grant funding, event delivery and ensuring that external funding requirements are fully met and evidenced. 

As part of a supportive team, you will work alongside colleagues within the County Council delivering information, business support projects and grant funding as part of the wider growth and investment offer.

The posts are part funded by the European Regional Development Fund until 30th June 2023.

Worcestershire County Council operates a policy of flexible working and staff regularly work from home or an alternative work base, typically two days per week or 40% of their working hours.

Full time posts are 35 hours per week.
