Grade G8, £30,451.00 - £34,728.00 per annum
The Walsall Proud Programme team are looking for an experienced and talented individual who can support the delivery of change in line with the council’s transformation programme.
As a Business Analyst within the Walsall Proud Programme Team, the post holder will:
Provide Business Analysis leadership, expertise and appropriate governance to support the delivery of the Proud programme benefits. The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Consult with and identify stakeholder requirements for service improvements, working with stakeholders to shape and specify Business Solutions assignments to achieve transformation outcomes
• Deliver Business Change assignments to specified terms of reference, on time, adhering to governance processes, within budget and in accordance with agreed milestones and outcomes
• Undertake business analysis jointly with service areas (both staff and management), gaining the support and ownership of all service stakeholders in accordance with good practice methodology and Prince2 project management
• Define, analyse and document business problems and issues using agreed metrics, business process maps, workflows, structures and procedures
• Develop proposals for the resolution of service problems and the delivery of transformational change
• Identify and promote improved process solutions and use of technology during Interactions with service managers
• Build links with other organisations and maintain awareness of the public sector change agenda to ensure that the Councils able to leverage learning and resources from elsewhere as appropriate
You must have strong business planning skills along with the ability and experience to lead the development and delivery of change projects. To apply you must hold an industry standards qualification in project management and be educated to degree level (or clearly demonstrate significant professional experience).
