1 x Strengthening Families Practitioner - Lakeside South Locality
25 Hours per week
Grade 6 - £24,982 - £27,041 per annum pro rata

The primary purpose of the service is to reduce demand on statutory higher tier more expensive services such as social care by targeting support to our most complex families. This supportive, targeted work with children and families will help prevent family breakdown, whilst strengthening early help working arrangements to ensure individuals are supported to get the “Right Help at the Right Time, enabling families to live active healthy independent lifestyles by utilising their own networks and community assets.

An opportunity has arisen in the Lakeside South Locality, for a Strengthening Families Practitioner.
The locality consists of strengthening families’ practitioners and strengthening families’ assistants.
The post will be working in the community delivering targeted groups and carrying a caseload of home based family support work with complex Children and Families requiring Local Authority support and Intervention.
As a Strengthening Families Practitioner you will deliver a “Strengthening Families” whole family working approach across an all age service. Ensuring multi agency Integrated working practices are at the heart of everything we do
