An opportunity has arisen for a Higher Level Teacher Assistant.
Southall is a thriving and improving 11-16 community special school located in the Telford area of Shropshire. This larger than average special school is well established in the local community. The school provides education for 160 students with moderate and complex learning difficulties, a growing proportion of the pupils have autistic spectrum conditions.
This post will initially be based at Southall School, but will then be transitioned to Langley School. Please see further information on the school:

Our ideal HLTA will:
- be confident and competent in guiding and leading young people
- have previous experience in working with children with special needs
- have an understanding of Child Protection policies
- have patience and empathy towards pupils
- have a good command of both written and spoken English
