Annual Salary up to £27,041.

This is a brilliant opportunity to get involved in direct work and really make a difference in our young people’s lives.

We are seeking enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Personal Advisors within Worcestershire's Care Leavers Service to support young people aged 17-24 who are preparing for or are in the process of making the transition to independent living.

As a Personal Advisor you will manage and support an allocated caseload of young people and ensure the provision of practical, personal, emotional and financial advice to facilitate a successful transition to adulthood and promote independence.

You will develop effective working relationships with young people and partner agencies, you will be the key professional to your young people, providing practical help and guidance to promote their safety and wellbeing.

You will be responsible for keeping case records, developing young people’s Pathway Plans, attending meetings and completing visits to young people at home and in the community; always seeking to promote the best outcomes possible.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable in their practice, someone who is professionally curious, passionate about helping young people achieve their potential and can work in line with corporate parenting principles.

The Team is based the County Hall Campus in Worcester. Although we are based in Wildwood our Personal Advisors typically work in the community, county-wide and sometimes beyond.  There is variety to our work and no two days look the same.

If you join us you can be confident of becoming part of a welcoming, supportive, passionate and innovative team.

We currently have a temporary cover vacancy for a full time Personal Advisor – the working pattern for this would be discussed and confirmed at interview and appointment.

If you have any specific queries related to the role, please contact Kerry Nicholl or Rhys Davies (knicholl@worcschildrenfirst.org.uk / rdavies4@worcschildrenfirst.org.uk) We look forward to hearing from you!
