Learning Support Assistant 1-1 Additional Needs
Salary: Grade 3 (£18,562 - £18,933) scp 3 £9,709 pro-rata
Number of hours per week 22.5 hours (9am - 12pm and 1.00pm – 2.30pm) Monday to Friday
Vacancy Type: 1 x Term-time Fixed Term Contract (dependant on funding, position allocated to child) to work with a child in Year 4
Start Date January 2022


The Federation of Heathfields Infant and Wilnecote Academy provide education for children aged between 4-11 years and are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their developing team.


We currently require a Learning Support Assistant to work under the direct instruction of teaching staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher. Work will be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area on a 1:1 basis or with small groups.


The post is linked to additional funding, there is a possibility that the contract may be extended further dependent on further funds being sourced.


As part of the interview process, our Senior Leadership Team may wish to observe you lead a learning activity with children – more details will follow after shortlisting.
