Archbishop Ilsley is a popular, over-subscribed, Catholic School in South East Birmingham with an excellent reputation for student welfare and improving examination results. The Assistant Building Services Supervisor will support the Site Manager in the provision of janitorial and security services ensuring that the school premises are safely maintained. Duties will include opening and locking the building, general porterage duties, reporting any maintenance issues and dealing with external contractors. Archbishop Ilsley is an extended schools site and as such cover is required from 6am until 10pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to work a shift pattern that will facilitate these opening hours. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a desire to contribute to a safe and healthy school environment. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
