As Accounting Technician will assist in the delivery of day to day finance and accounting activities across the West Midlands Combined Authority.
You will provide good financial administration to the accountancy function, help budget holders manage their financial resources, complete month-end activities, assist in effective forecasting and developing robust annual budget proposals.
Our Finance & Business Hub provides essential high-quality, responsive, and agile enabling services to the West Midlands Combined Authority and its directorates in areas such as human resources, procurement, commercial investments, assurance and appraisal, financial control and administration, and financial and business planning and performance reporting.

You will need to have current knowledge and understanding of financial management issues and have at least AAT level 4 or equivalent.

- Ability to work collaboratively across the finance function
- Experience of supporting multi-disciplinary teams to achieve service outcomes
