Curriculum/Resource Assistant - Level 1 (Food/Art)

15 hours per week, Fixed Term until 31st July 2022, Grade 4, SCP Point 4

£18,933 per annum pro rata to hours worked (£9.81 per hour). Term Time Only plus 3 PD days (43.80 weeks per year)


START DATE: 4th January 2022 or as soon as possible

We are looking to appoint a Curriculum/Resource Assistant to provide effective support in our food and art departments.

The preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, is flexible, reliable and resourceful ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school’s food and art courses.

The successful candidate will be:

● An excellent communicator with students, parents/carers and staff


● Good ICT skills


● High Level of accuracy and attention to detail


● Ability to work under own initiative


Ability to work well as part of a team


The post will require the successful applicant to be self-motivated, highly organised, reliable, have a friendly manner and the ability to work under pressure.

Duties include assisting the teacher with learning activities, supporting practical elements of the food and art courses, ensuring maintenance of a safe and hygienic working environment, ordering and replenishing stock/ ingredients, providing admin support, timely and accurate preparation of routine equipment/resources/materials.
